CAN Community

We acknowledge the incredible insights and experience that people with lived experience and their loved ones bring to our research. We are committed to ensuring that these insights and experiences are included in all aspects of our research, from the design and development of projects to the evaluation and communication of findings.

Team Meeting

We are currently seeking autistic people and people with other neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as their family members and caregivers, to join our inaugural
CAN Research Community Consultation Committee.

Members of the Community Consultation Committee have an opportunity to partner with the CAN Research team to:

  • Discuss new research ideas.

  • Help plan for how new research projects are designed and implemented.

  • Review and comment on grant applications and other research documentation.

  • Receive updates about the progress of the research project and new findings.

  • Assist in disseminating research findings within the community.
